I've been a big fan of this man's work (most notably his work on The Incredibles) and now I am a fan of the man himself. His speech last night was not only one of humility and class, but one that celebrated his parents and most importantly, a child's creative spirit.

My husband and I are both in creative fields, and we both loved Giacchino's comments, too. From what I've read, many of the people who work at or with Pixar have had the same kind of encouragement in their lives. Couldn't think of better examples on how to raise creative AND successful kids.
